Aroma Treasures Tea Tree oil And Lavender Oil - Product Review

Essential Oils play a  key role in my skin and hair care regime .. Some of the essentials oils have helped me to get through worst acne phases and some have helped me in calming down during anxious phases.

I have been using essential oils since a long time now and it is not surprising that I have used them from different brands as well.

Today i will reviewing 2 essential oils - Tea Tree and Lavender from Aroma Treasures.

Tea tree has won a reputation as a 'cure all' oil for dandruff and acne. The cicatrisant property of this essential oil makes it heal wounds quickly and protects them from infections. The stimulant property of tea tree essential oil can be very beneficial for taking care of certain hair conditions. Packaging :

• It comes in a glass bottle with a white screw cap and a nozzle to dispense the product.
• The glass bottle has a sticker with all relevant details about the product imprinted on it.
• It does not list the key ingredients as it claims to be 100% pure essential oil.
• The bottle is delicate and I am not sure if it is travel friendly as the glass bottle could break anytime if mishandled.
• Smells very strong of tea tree / lavender 

My Take on this ..! 

I have been using essential oils for quite sometime now and I can fairly compare different brands for the same. I ordered this one considering that the price was lower than other competitors in the market.

It claims to be 100% pure essential oil which I was not sure for the price we get , usually such oils are costlier :) .. but this one is fairly affordable.

Used on Skin : 

Tea tree oil : 

I used this oil directly on my zits / pimples and observed very little change in them in like a week when I applied it twice a day.I also mixed some of it in my night cream so as to get maximum benefit.I didn't see any major change in the way my pimples were .. size reduced a little but new zits made their way through .. it only worked on smaller pimples.

Lavender Oil :

I repeated the same exercise as I did for tea tree and this time I got better results.Somehow lavender oil worked better on my skin .. it removed smaller zits , new zits didn't appear , felt less abrasive on my skin and the fragrance was heavenly.

Used on Hair :

I made a mixture of coconut oil + almond oil and both the essential oils and it worked in reducing my dandruff to say 10% .I would not say it worked wonders on my scalp when I used this only as an add-on oil in the coconut+almond oil mixture.

To give it a better shot , I mixed these oils in my shampoo as well as my conditioner so that I have sufficient quantity in usage to attack dandruff and in a way that worked better for me.

What Did I like about this product ?:

• Packaging is cute and simple.
• It claims to have 100% pure oil.
• Affordable.
• Works best on smaller zits
• Variants available.

What did I dislike about this product:

Did not show expected results in expected time frame .May be it was just my skin that didn't react to it as expected I can't claim anything for sure.When I incorporated it in multiple products then it worked better.

Recommended to use ?? 

Basically every skin is different and the way they react to essential oils differs.This worked for em only when I started mixing it with other creams and oils and started using this more frequently but that doesn't mean it will work for you or it may work for you.
So all I can say is essential oils are something you should try and test on your skin and see if you are satisfied with the results :)
