Nykaa Winter Sale Haul & Experience of shopping on Nykaa.com

2016 is almost over .. So first I thought I would like to take a moment to thank each one of you for being so supportive and for the humongous response for my blogging .. I am deeply humbled and It has given me a prime source of inspiration and encouragement to write better .. So Thank-you Everyone ..!! 

Since it's an year end .. I thought of doing something different..So instead of blogging a product review.. I will sharing my experience with the Nykaa Winter Sale that is ongoing and also will share all the products that I ordered from there.. So let's get started.

For all of you who are not aware of what a Nykaa sale haul is .. Nykaa.com is basically an online shopping website for beauty products .. It has a wide variety of brands available to choose from and they also have their own in-house Nykaa brand products available.. You basically have to just visit their site i.e Nykaa.com or use their Nykaa app on mobile and create an account .. And just get started by exploring the products / new arrivals etc .. add stuff you need to the cart and place an order like any other online shopping site.

It takes around say  a week for so to get the products .. Nykaa courier service is rather slow and there is a scope of improvement there is what I feel. .

As you can see in the image above .. I ordered quite a few products and was rather very excited for each one of them to arrive...

My Shopping Experience with Nykaa.com: 

I will start off by mentioning that finding all the products you need under one roof is a bliss .. it saves a lot of time .. discounts are great.. product quality is assured as they are all branded.. you can search and sort products at your convenience in the required price range .. and the biggest benefit is .. you get to buy stuff that you actually need without being influenced by salesgirls who sometimes may convince you on buying things that basically you don't need..hehe ... yes.. I am a victim of this .. so I am much glad that Nykaa.com saves the day!!  

So I bought a couple of things out of which most of the stuff was something that I need almost every other day like shampoo , conditioner , rose water , eye liner etc.. 

The products were very easy to find and add to the cart .. pay and I was done ! 

All of these products came well packaged in a cardboard box with proper bubble wrap to help save the product .. However the entire order was broken into smaller chunks while the delivery happened so I did not get all the products at the same time .. some came early.. and some were delayed.. Nykaa intimidated in a generic message that they are experiencing some delays in delivery due to heavy demands during sale time .. so that was understandable.. so I had no complaints with the total order being arriving separately in smaller  chunks.. The packaging was also good as every product was bubble wrapped to save from damages .. However the nail remover was not sealed well before bubble wrap and that did flow through .. :( ..

I was quite satisfied with the overall experience.. till the time that I received my Nykaa Fall Winter Matte Nail Enamel (2 shades .. Raspberry tart and Blue Jellybean in a broken condition with nailpaint flowing through.. I was very lucky that these nail enamels came in a separate courier else it would have ruined all other products.. 

So I raised a complaint (Service Request) to get my issue resolved and .. ya the issue was resolved within no time .. This however was a big turnoff to me .. But I am sure this happens with any other online shopping too .. Another turnoff for me was .. when I placed order for The Body Shop British Rose Eau De Toilette.. it was available .. But later when the order was completed and payment was done . . I received a message saying it's out of stock and they initiated a refund...so again I was quite irritated .. for a fact that if the product was not available it should have been mentioned as out of stock .. I don't know what happened there .. it may be that there was some parallel order and by the time my order was done it may have gone out of stock .. but the chances of that happening is very rare & bleak... 

Nevertheless despite all this experience remaining all other products came intact ...The discounts were satisfactory .. there were so many deals that were worth the catch .. and I received a beautiful golden pouch free with an order of 3500 .. and I felt all's well that ends well .. and i was back to being Happy Me !! 

I am sure all of you might have faced similar situations while shopping online or even had better experience than mine... Share in you stories and experiences as I would love to hear from you guys ..

Final Take ..

Shopping with Nykaa was overall mixed experience .. it was god in terms of deals I got and the products I was able to find under one roof .. And on the other hand there was some sour experience in terms of some product deliverables.. But in the end things got resolved ..

But the jist is that I absolutely love fragrances and I consider it as something so essential that I don't prefer stepping out of home without wearing one of these..

Today I will be reviewing Enchanteur Eau de Toilette in Charming , Alluring , Romantic and Enticing variants ..

How does it Look and smell like ?:

I would really like to take a moment for appreciating for such a beautiful packaging ..

Seriously guys .. its so pretty .. very delicate shaped glass bottle with the most beautiful Rose shaped cap on it .. I really am impressed with the way they have worked on the packaging .. It's extremely pretty to look at and it add the value as a show piece in the dressing section too .. I have literally kept on display as it is simply beautiful decorative stuff..

Enchanteur Eau de Toilette - Packaging Details

• It comes in a simple see through glass bottle with a transparent "Rose-Shaped" cap.The glass bottle has only one detail .. Enchanteur ..Followed by the Variant.All other details you will find in the cardboard case that it comes enclosed in.
• The cardboard case has very beautiful roses imprinted on it according to the variant and all relevant details are provided along with.It also comes with a small pamplet inside which has details about all variants available in EDT section of Enchanteur.
• On opening the lid , you can see the spraying mechanism , which is like any other perfume.
• Packaging is so beautiful that I prefer keeping it as a decor piece .. :).
• I did travel with it and observed that the cap kept falling so that was a little turn off for me.

Fragrance:

Enchanteur Eau de Toilette - Fragrance Details

• I am head over heals in love with the fragrance of these ..All the variants have unique and distinct fragrance and are very long lasting.
• It usually lasts for around 5 hours and fades out.
• All the variants are for everyday use and suitable to be worn in office..The order in terms of stronger fragrance according to me is Charming > Alluring >> Enticing >> Romantic.. 
• Out of all the variants , Alluring is my favourite as I prefer strong , sweet , floral and fruity fragrances.. so Alluring suits my choice the best .. I really feel it is very unique and I feel very comfortable wearing it all day long.
• Romantic Variant has notes of Bulgarian Roses, White Jasmine, Mandarin and Violet ... Enticing has the essence of Magnolia, Rose, Freesia and Bergamot... Charming has mix of Rose and Muguet with a pinch of Citrus & Alluring has Passion Fruit Flower with a bouquet of Rose and Iris.

 How I like to use this :

Simply Spray on the dress ...I use almost 4-5 sprays for optimum results.

How much does it Cost? !! :

What Did I like about this product ?:

• It smells amazing and fresh. 
• Excellent for everyday use. 
• Packaging is Beautiful. 
• Lasts long 
• One bottle lasted 2 months for me , but that totally depends on individual usage,so no guarantees on how long it may last for you. 
• Good quality for the price you pay.

What did I dislike about this product:

I just felt the cap keeps falling and it does not seal the perfume bottle well .

Recommended to use ?? 

Yes , For everyday use it is quite good and price is decent too.

My dear friends at office knew exactly what I was looking for and my keen interest in organic based products ..  and they gifted me a spa kit from Khadi and few more products from the same brand "Khadi" on my bday.. yayyyy..

Today I will be reviewing Khadi Natural Herbal Bath Salt - Lavender and Basil ..which as the name suggests is something which is added to the bathing water to making the bathing experience more lavish and relaxing ..

How does it Look and smell like ?:

Packaging  :

• It comes in a simple see through wide-mouthed plastic tub with a silver colored steel screw cap.
• On opening the lid , you can see a seal (aluminium) which keeps the product sealed and safe.
• On opening the seal , you would see small granules of bath salt mixed with chunks of basil.
• It has sticker with all product details & Directions on How to use.
• Packaging is so simple yet so elegant.. I love the simplicity of this brand.. It is sturdy as well as travel friendly..and the steel cap just makes the entire look so pretty..

Consistency:

• It is made of small sized but visible granules of dead sea salt , mixed with chunks of basil.
• The color is more or less Dark brown , but it doesn't change the color of the water after getting dissolved.
• The consistency is granular and you can feel the chunks of dead sea salt as prominent ingredient.But it dissolves completely with no visible traces.
• On putting in a bucket . . It gets dissolved in water in like 2 minutes .. and then it makes the texture of water smooth against the skin.
• It is moisturising too.

Fragrance :

• I am head over heals in love with the fragrance of this one .. It has a very strong fragrance of fresh Lavender with a hint of basil in it.
• It smells so fresh ... so so so fresh ..and it helps relax my mind.It is such a stress buster..I feel so fresh and so relaxed after using this.. I think I am going to get addicted to it .. 
• It gives me a spa like experience.

 How I like to use this :

Basically I take about 1/1.5 teaspoon of the bath salt and pour it into my hot water bucket...This product doesn't come with any spatula so I have put a small spoon inside the product tumbler to make the usage hygienic as I don't prefer contaminating the product by digging in my fingers.. So .. as soon as I add this .. it takes around 2-3 minutes for the bath salt  to get completely dissolve.. Sometimes if I am too impatient , I would just stir the water to help this dissolve early..And that's it .. Use this water to bath .. And the water definitely feels more smooth on my skin and I feel like a thin layer of oil / moisturising agent has come over me.. but that is not overpowering..I think it is effect of the ingredients present in it like basil oil , glycerine or like so. .. Also it easily removes the soap .. no issues there too.. 

As soon as I open the lid . . I cannot escape from the lavender fragrance that pops out and brings all my senses back in place .. After my bath I just feel relaxed , moisturised and stress free.I feel it's similar to aroma therapy.. This therapy works fine for me :) .. 

Also Lavender and basil both help in healing acne , bruises , eczema, dermatitis burns , insect bites , athlete's foot and more .. and I have been recently getting few back pimples so this one is helping calming my back skin too.

What Did I like about this product ?:

• I liked the way it changes the feel of the water on my skin , it makes it more smooth and moisturizing.
• It helps to eliminate stress and relaxes my mind.Its more like a spa experience.
• It smells amazing and fresh.
• It dissolves in no time.
• Excellent for everyday use.
• Packaging is simple , sturdy and elegant
• It has goodness of Lavender and Basil which helps with various skin issues.
• Good quality for the price you pay.

What did I dislike about this product:

I just felt that it would be great if this product would come with a spatula to dispense the product to make it more hygienic.Nothing else to complain about .. :) 

Recommended to use ?? 

Yes.. I loved it and I would recommend it to each one of you.. as stress-free life is a better life :) .. I really feel it helps eliminating the stress and helps to relax..

• All the Enchanteur products have a consistent packaging pattern (except for their perfumes / EDT) and color scheme throughout their product lines.They are all off white with the variant details on a sticker which has beautiful roses on it ..In this case Pink for Romantic version and Yellow Roses for Charming..
• The packaging is simple yet elegant , the soap comes in an off-white color cardboard with all the required product details.It is wrapped with a clear polythene sheet which makes it sealed and enhances its apearance.
• The variant details are mentioned onto the bottle and other relevant details are provided including the product description , directions to use , price details , ingredients etc.
• On opening the outer cover and transparent sheet , you get to see the soap , Romantic perfumed soap is pink colored and Charming is yellow.. again they religiously follow the color scheme of their range.
• The soap lathers well and washes out easily too.
• It does not feel drying and is good for sensitive skin as well.

Fragrance:

• As the name suggests , it is a Perfumed Soap , both the variants (Romantic & Charming) are pleasantly perfumed.
• The Romantic variant has an uplifting fragrance of sweet Bulgarian Roses and White Jasmine to it where Jasmine fragrance is more dominating.
• The Charming one has exotic sensual fragrance of Rose Muguet and CedarWood.It's fragrance is definitely stronger than the Romantic variant.
• Fragrance is quite nice and lingers for sometime.
• If you want the fragrance to persist for longer time , try using the entire range of Enchanteur of same variant from soap , deo , talcum , moisturizer and perfume/EDT and you will be completely dominated by uni-fragrance all day long.

My Take on this Soap :

My take on Enchanteur Perfumed Soaps

I have been using this soap for the past 2 months now and it was a good bathing experience.Both the soaps lathers fast and are easily washed out too.I feel that it cleanses my body well and leaves a fresh fragrance behind that lingers for sometime..which does not bother me at all .. Infact I follow up with the same range moisturiser to keep the fragrance last longer.This soap size is apt .. it doesn't slip off my hands :) .It does not feel drying as it does not strip off the moisture from my skin , However I have habit of using a moisturiser after every bath , so that balances out any moisture loss as well.

What Did I like about this product ?:

• Packaging is very elegant and pretty with beautiful fresh roses imprinted on it.
• I liked the fragrance of both variants.
• It does not strip off the moisture so it's not drying.
• Good for everyday use.
• Value for money.

What did I dislike about this product:

Nothing as such 

Recommended to use ?? 

Yes , It's good for everyday use.
