Khadi Natural Herbal Bath Salt - Lavender & Basil - Product Review

My dear friends at office knew exactly what I was looking for and my keen interest in organic based products ..  and they gifted me a spa kit from Khadi and few more products from the same brand "Khadi" on my bday.. yayyyy..

Today I will be reviewing Khadi Natural Herbal Bath Salt - Lavender and Basil ..which as the name suggests is something which is added to the bathing water to making the bathing experience more lavish and relaxing ..

Khadi Naturals is basically associated with the Gramodaya Ashram which is an institution registered under Khadi & Village Industries Commission since 1963 which in turns is trying to keep their inspiration source Gandhi Bapu’s reflections alive. .They are the manufacturer of handspun and handwoven 100% cotton fabrics and khadi herbal products. 

Gramodaya Ashram, is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of khadi fabrics and herbal items in India. They are engaged in manufacturing of Khadi, Khadi herbal shampoo, khadi handmade soap Paraben free shampoo and Glycerin transparent soap.They are also into other beauty products like bath salts , aloe vera gel , body and face scrubs , face packs etc .They also make spa kits and other type of combos too.

How does it Look and smell like ?:

Packaging  :

• It comes in a simple see through wide-mouthed plastic tub with a silver colored steel screw cap.
• On opening the lid , you can see a seal (aluminium) which keeps the product sealed and safe.
• On opening the seal , you would see small granules of bath salt mixed with chunks of basil.
• It has sticker with all product details & Directions on How to use.
• Packaging is so simple yet so elegant.. I love the simplicity of this brand.. It is sturdy as well as travel friendly..and the steel cap just makes the entire look so pretty..

Consistency:

• It is made of small sized but visible granules of dead sea salt , mixed with chunks of basil.
• The color is more or less Dark brown , but it doesn't change the color of the water after getting dissolved.
• The consistency is granular and you can feel the chunks of dead sea salt as prominent ingredient.But it dissolves completely with no visible traces.
• On putting in a bucket . . It gets dissolved in water in like 2 minutes .. and then it makes the texture of water smooth against the skin.
• It is moisturising too.

Fragrance :

• I am head over heals in love with the fragrance of this one .. It has a very strong fragrance of fresh Lavender with a hint of basil in it.
• It smells so fresh ... so so so fresh ..and it helps relax my mind.It is such a stress buster..I feel so fresh and so relaxed after using this.. I think I am going to get addicted to it .. 
• It gives me a spa like experience.

 How I like to use this :

Basically I take about 1/1.5 teaspoon of the bath salt and pour it into my hot water bucket...This product doesn't come with any spatula so I have put a small spoon inside the product tumbler to make the usage hygienic as I don't prefer contaminating the product by digging in my fingers.. So .. as soon as I add this .. it takes around 2-3 minutes for the bath salt  to get completely dissolve.. Sometimes if I am too impatient , I would just stir the water to help this dissolve early..And that's it .. Use this water to bath .. And the water definitely feels more smooth on my skin and I feel like a thin layer of oil / moisturising agent has come over me.. but that is not overpowering..I think it is effect of the ingredients present in it like basil oil , glycerine or like so. .. Also it easily removes the soap .. no issues there too.. 

As soon as I open the lid . . I cannot escape from the lavender fragrance that pops out and brings all my senses back in place .. After my bath I just feel relaxed , moisturised and stress free.I feel it's similar to aroma therapy.. This therapy works fine for me :) .. 

Also Lavender and basil both help in healing acne , bruises , eczema, dermatitis burns , insect bites , athlete's foot and more .. and I have been recently getting few back pimples so this one is helping calming my back skin too.

What Did I like about this product ?:

• I liked the way it changes the feel of the water on my skin , it makes it more smooth and moisturizing.
• It helps to eliminate stress and relaxes my mind.Its more like a spa experience.
• It smells amazing and fresh.
• It dissolves in no time.
• Excellent for everyday use.
• Packaging is simple , sturdy and elegant
• It has goodness of Lavender and Basil which helps with various skin issues.
• Good quality for the price you pay.

What did I dislike about this product:

I just felt that it would be great if this product would come with a spatula to dispense the product to make it more hygienic.Nothing else to complain about .. :) 

Recommended to use ?? 

Yes.. I loved it and I would recommend it to each one of you.. as stress-free life is a better life :) .. I really feel it helps eliminating the stress and helps to relax..
