Nykaa Winter Sale Haul & Experience of shopping on Nykaa.com

2016 is almost over .. So first I thought I would like to take a moment to thank each one of you for being so supportive and for the humongous response for my blogging .. I am deeply humbled and It has given me a prime source of inspiration and encouragement to write better .. So Thank-you Everyone ..!! 

Since it's an year end .. I thought of doing something different..So instead of blogging a product review.. I will sharing my experience with the Nykaa Winter Sale that is ongoing and also will share all the products that I ordered from there.. So let's get started.

For all of you who are not aware of what a Nykaa sale haul is .. Nykaa.com is basically an online shopping website for beauty products .. It has a wide variety of brands available to choose from and they also have their own in-house Nykaa brand products available.. You basically have to just visit their site i.e Nykaa.com or use their Nykaa app on mobile and create an account .. And just get started by exploring the products / new arrivals etc .. add stuff you need to the cart and place an order like any other online shopping site.

It takes around say  a week for so to get the products .. Nykaa courier service is rather slow and there is a scope of improvement there is what I feel. .

Products I Ordered: 

As you can see in the image above .. I ordered quite a few products and was rather very excited for each one of them to arrive...

I ordered the following :

7. Head & Shoulders Smooth & Silky Conditioner..Amt: Rs. 300.00.
8. Naturica Repair Intensive Mask For Very Dry, Damaged Hair...Amt: Rs. 504.00.
9. The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Stain - 01 Pink Hibiscus...Amt: Rs. 846.00.(Can't find it now.. :( )

My Shopping Experience with Nykaa.com: 

I will start off by mentioning that finding all the products you need under one roof is a bliss .. it saves a lot of time .. discounts are great.. product quality is assured as they are all branded.. you can search and sort products at your convenience in the required price range .. and the biggest benefit is .. you get to buy stuff that you actually need without being influenced by salesgirls who sometimes may convince you on buying things that basically you don't need..hehe ... yes.. I am a victim of this .. so I am much glad that Nykaa.com saves the day!!  

So I bought a couple of things out of which most of the stuff was something that I need almost every other day like shampoo , conditioner , rose water , eye liner etc.. 

The products were very easy to find and add to the cart .. pay and I was done ! 

All of these products came well packaged in a cardboard box with proper bubble wrap to help save the product .. However the entire order was broken into smaller chunks while the delivery happened so I did not get all the products at the same time .. some came early.. and some were delayed.. Nykaa intimidated in a generic message that they are experiencing some delays in delivery due to heavy demands during sale time .. so that was understandable.. so I had no complaints with the total order being arriving separately in smaller  chunks.. The packaging was also good as every product was bubble wrapped to save from damages .. However the nail remover was not sealed well before bubble wrap and that did flow through .. :( ..

I was quite satisfied with the overall experience.. till the time that I received my Nykaa Fall Winter Matte Nail Enamel (2 shades .. Raspberry tart and Blue Jellybean in a broken condition with nailpaint flowing through.. I was very lucky that these nail enamels came in a separate courier else it would have ruined all other products.. 

So I raised a complaint (Service Request) to get my issue resolved and .. ya the issue was resolved within no time .. This however was a big turnoff to me .. But I am sure this happens with any other online shopping too .. Another turnoff for me was .. when I placed order for The Body Shop British Rose Eau De Toilette.. it was available .. But later when the order was completed and payment was done . . I received a message saying it's out of stock and they initiated a refund...so again I was quite irritated .. for a fact that if the product was not available it should have been mentioned as out of stock .. I don't know what happened there .. it may be that there was some parallel order and by the time my order was done it may have gone out of stock .. but the chances of that happening is very rare & bleak... 

Nevertheless despite all this experience remaining all other products came intact ...The discounts were satisfactory .. there were so many deals that were worth the catch .. and I received a beautiful golden pouch free with an order of 3500 .. and I felt all's well that ends well .. and i was back to being Happy Me !!

Final Take ..

Shopping with Nykaa was overall mixed experience .. it was god in terms of deals I got and the products I was able to find under one roof .. And on the other hand there was some sour experience in terms of some product deliverables.. But in the end things got resolved ..
