Are you someone who is always running late in the morning and there is hardly anytime to layer your face with moisturizers , bb/cc creams , foundation etc ?

Well I am totally of that sorts .. most of my mornings are either lazy or I am running late for office .. So I was on a hunt of a face cream that could somehow reduce my "getting ready for office" time .. and I found the Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Day Cream.. 

I sort of have some faith in this brand as I have been using it's products from a very long time now .. So getting this one seemed the right thing to do  .. and i believe this is their newly launched cream so I anyways had to try it out ..

Key Ingredients :

Licorice is known to help lighten skin and fade dark spots and blemishes, to give your skin a brighter complexion by inhibiting melanin synthesis.

White Dammer is a rich source of flavonoids and phenols which exhibit potent antioxidant activity. It helps reduce mild pigmentation and spots, resulting in an even skin tone.

Packaging :

• It comes in a matte finished glass tumbler with a green plastic cap , housed in a red and white cardboard box with details mentioned about the product (shown in the image above) .
• The matte finish of the tumbler gives it a classy look and overall attractive packaging.
• However for someone like me who is very careless with handling delicate things and keep dropping them , this packaging is rather risky and I don't find it travel friendly.  
• There comes another white cap inside to help the product from spilling out , but again I find it very inconvenient for a fact that half of the product sticks onto that cap .. Irritating !! 

 Texture :

• The cream is thick ,soft , beige colored , doesn't leave any white cast on the skin.
• Texture is very smooth and glides on perfectly on the skin.
• It takes only a pea size amount for face and neck , and gets absorbed easily.
• It's not sticky and completely gets absorbed without leaving any oily traces.

My Take on this ..! 

I have been using this one since 3 weeks now as a day cream twice a day & haven't bothered to use any foundation or CC/BB creams .. All I do is .. use this twice a day after face clean up and set this with any face powder or compaq and that's it ..

It doesn't give any coverage like a BB/CC cream , it is indeed a simple face moisturiser sorts.. , it doesn't leave any oily traces on my face and get absorbed very quick.

Now coming to the point if it really works to get lighten skin and fade dark spots and blemishes, to give your skin a brighter complexion by inhibiting melanin synthesis...Well  I haven't observed any dramatic change in my spots or pigmentation or blemishes , marks etc.. i had been suffering from acne issue and my skin has many marks so may be it will take some time to show some significant change and I just have to be patient.. 

However ... The ingredients seemed quite promising though so I am wondering if it takes more time to work onto the problem areas than I anticipated.It also has CINNABLO which provides UV protection and prevents skin darkening.

It is quite moisturising and the texture is very smooth and gets absorbed in no time so It is good for everyday use , so that's what I am using it for.

What Did I like about this product ?:

• Quite Moisturising.
• It doesn't have any harmful or harsh  ingredients.
• CINNABLO  provides UV protection and prevents skin darkening.
• Smooth textured and sinks in the skin in no time.
• Doesn't cast any white cast on the skin post application.
• No new breakout or zits after using this.
• You get decent amount of product for the price you pay and it lasts for almost 3-4 months.
• Affordable.
• Good for everyday basis.

What did I dislike about this product:

• Glass tumbler packaging is not so travel friendly.
• Didn't work dramatically on my skin for lightening the skin or blemishes or dark spots..That may take some time to show some better results

Recommended to use ?? 

Yes , For everyday face moisturizer this is a good option , and it gets absorbed in no time and leaves the skin soft and supple.
