Batiste Dry Shampoo Instant Hair Refresh Floral and Flirty Blush - Product Review

I discovered dry shampoos recently and have been hooked to them for lifetime now ... for a plain and simple reason .. convenience , time saving and effective ! 

I am someone with extremely thick , dry , damaged , curly hair .. and shampooing every second day becomes a necessity for hygienic reasons , but me being super lazy always am on a hunt to find short cuts .. and I think I finally found a short cut to keep my hair maintained and clean with the help of dry shampoos.. so today I will be reviewing the Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush variant.

Product Description :

Batiste Dry Shampoo Floral & Flirty Blush acts as a friend to your greasy hair and gives it a quick clean eliminating excess oils from its roots. One does not need water while using this shampoo, which is perfect for use between washes.

• Makes your hair satin soft and ready for any occasion.

Key Ingredients :

Butane, Isobutane, Propane, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Starch, Alcohol denat, Parfum(Fragrance), Distearyldimonium Chloride, Cetrimonium Chloride, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Linalool.

How to Use the Product :
Shake vigorously before use. Keeping the nozzle about 30cm from your head section hair and spray into roots, working all over your head. Massage through with fingertips to ensure roots are fully covered.Brush through hair from roots to ends to remove excess residue and style as desired.

Color : Has a white cast

Smell : Very pleasant floral fragrance.

Packaging :

• It comes in a metallic opaque white bottle (can sort of ) imprinted with floral white and pink print on it with all product details & simple translucent cap.
• It has a spray mechanism to dispense the product.
• Packaging is decent , compact , handy , fits in perfectly in my purse and travel friendly.
• It has pleasant fresh floral fragrance.
• It has a white cast that I am not a fan of.

My Take on this ..! 

Well as mentioned earlier I am someone with thick , dry and immensely curly hair and obviously maintaining such hair type is most tedious and taxing .As I have to wash my hair and scalp in every 2 days .. and also have deal with tangles a lot .. So dry shampoo has come as a sign of relief to me ... Be it any variant I enjoy using dry shampoo a lot . The basic concept of a dry shampoo is to spray them from a distance of say 30 cm from your scalp and hit the nozzle to spray the product , and then  gently massage it till you get rid of the white cast.It basically will absorb the excess oil from the scalp and the fragrance will make it seem clean , and nice.

It also gets rid of excess itch from the scalp as it absorbs all the dust and grime from the scalp enough to skip a shampoo day :) and it makes my hair more bouncy :) 

I have been trying the batiste dry shampoos from quite some time now and the only concern is white cast , remaining I think it is a very convenient solution to my hair issues.:)

The fragrance is strong , pleasant and stays for a longer time.There are many variants to choose from.

What Did I like about this product ?:

• Packaging is cute and simple.
• So many Variants available.
• Helps in getting rid of that excess oil and grime on second or third day after shampoo.

What did I dislike about this product:

• It is full of chemicals.If you are very ingredient conscious then you may not like this product.
• White cast is sometimes irritating.Lots of massaging needed at times to get rid of caste.
•  Fragrance could be strong for sensitive noses, for me it somehow works.
• It is on the pricier side.Cannot call it particularly affordable.

Recommended to use ?? 

Yes , if you have similar hair issues as mine and you are as lazy as I am then please go ahead and get yourself a dry shampoo for those lazy days :)
