I am very excited while writing this as I have been planning to write this product review from the moment I got my hands on it .. 

I gradually developed interest in liquid lipsticks when I started exploring others bloggers and youtube videos .. and I found this one from Coloressence Intense Long Wear Liquid Lip Color as one of the most favourite one especially for beginners (in liquid lipsticks) .. so I thought .. since its not so pricey and the reviews seemed pretty much good .. there is no harm in trying and I ordered it from Amazon .

Which Brand is it ?? : 

Coloressence is the color cosmetics brand of Nature’s Essence. All products of makeup in various ranges and packagings are available under the brand. The pigments being used are of top quality, exclusively being imported from Germany. Coloressence is one of the fastest growing color cosmetics brand in India and one can see its presence in retail shops, malls and salons etc. It is even sold through popular teleshopping channels like homeshop18.com and starcj.com. Within a short span, the brand has become a household name and is now looking to expand its horizon by launching premium category range.

The product claims .. Intense Long Lasting Creamy Lip Color Has A Smooth Texture And Glides Perfectly On The Lips. It's Highly Pigmented Formula Gives Long Lasting Matte Coverage And The Texture Is Weightless On The Lips With No Hint Of Stickiness

How does it Look and smell like ?:

• Packaging is very fancy and attractive. It comes in a small rectangular , flat , transparent plastic bottle with a black screw cap attached with a wand to apply the liquid lipstick.
• The bottle is enclosed in a cardboard packaging having some details about the product.
• The clear bottle aids in knowing the lipstick shade.Also sticker mentioned with shade details.In my case "Rose Petals"
• The bottle has a sticker over it with product details.It also has brand name "Coloressence" written in black over the body.

• The liquid lipstick is not at all runny. it is thick liquid which sticks perfectly to the applicator wand and transfers perfectly on the lips.
• Talking about the wand , it could get a little clumsy if you are a new bee in using it.But with one or two applications you can be a pro.
• The smell however is a concern for me .. cos I am someone who "sniffs" a lot :P .. this liquid lipstick has chemical-ish smell which bothers me , however the smell fades in like a minute or so.
• Packaging overall is very cute and travel friendly , specially when you want to keep it in a clutch bag , the flat lipstick body is just perfect to keep it in there.

Texture:

• The texture is very smooth and glides perfectly on lips.
• One swipe is enough for the pigmentation to spread evenly.
• It's not runny and consistency is thick and smooth.
• The pigmentation is intense and lasts for a good 5+ hours for me .It even survives meals.I don't usually bother to apply it later cause it leaves a deep pigmentation on the lips , so reapplying is something that I can skip.
• The lipstick however doesn't come out gracefully , it becomes little patchy and drying so I strongly recommend using a non-tinted lip balm before you apply this . I use  Organic Harvest Lip Balm to serve the purpose.

• I bought the shade "Rose Petal" , which is bright yet everyday wear pink and can be carried off by anyone.I usually prefer wearing it in office as I am too lazy to touch up the lipstick post lunch .. so this one serves the purpose ..I will definitely give others shade a try.
• The lipstick when first applied appears to be sheen , but settles as matte.
• It takes like minimum 5 minutes to dry , so do not press your lips against each other during the process of drying as this will disturb the even pigmentation and you may end up having patchy lips.

 How I like to use this : 

Since I experienced that all matte lipsticks are very drying , I start off with applying a lip balm . I usually prefer Organic Harvest Lip Balm as it is non-tinted and does not change the appearance of matte lipsticks , also gives apt hydration.Then I take out the applicator wand and apply on the lower lip and upper lip and let the color settle.

Initially it looks sheer , then settles as matte.I usually avoid pressing my lips against each other when the liquid lipstick is still not dried so as to avoid any patchiness on the lips as this disturbs the uniform color payoff on the lips.

The end result is good , intense lip color and this stays for like good 5 hours and while I am busy in office work , I don't have to bother about the makeup touch ups.I really appreciate the color payoff as compared to what you are paying for it.

The lipstick starts fading from the centre of the lips then outwards which sometimes isn't too graceful , so at that time I simply either remove it completely or apply lip balm and spread it evenly.

The lipstick , even after removing , leaves a deep pink pigmentation which remains till you take it out with a makeup remover.

Key Ingredients :

In the packaging they have only mentioned about the active ingredients which includes Vit E , Dimethicone ,  Jojoba oil and Almond oil.Complete list of the ingredients is not mentioned.

What Did I like about this product ?:

• It is highly pigmented , as the product descriptions says "Intense Long Wear Liquid Lip Color" .. it totally stands by it.
• It is long lasting , stays for 5+ hours.
• I usually don't bother to touch up as even if it fades it leaves a deep pink pigmentation on my lips so I can live with it.
• The packaging is extremely cute and fancy.Anytime if any of my friends notice it they cannot resist but asking which liquid lipstick I am using.
• The formula is thick and settles well on the lips.
• Nice Variants available.
• Packaging is sleek so it fits in a clutch easily ,  sturdy and travel friendly.
• If you are new to using liquid lipsticks then I feel this one is a good buy to start exploring liquid lipsticks.

What did I dislike about this product:

• All matte lipsticks are very drying , especially liquid lipsticks and this one is no exception.If you are someone with very dry and chapped lips you may want to consider this before trying this one.
• The chemical-ish smell bothers me .. it stays for not more than a minute but still it bothers me.
• You might want to do a patch test if you feel you are allergic to any of the active ingredients mentioned.

Recommended to use ?? 

Yes , Overall my experience is very positive about this one , whenever I wear this I get genuine praises  and it actually gets noticed.. :) .. The pigmentation is intense and lasts long .I would purchase other variants too as I am quite happy with my first liquid lipstick !
