Sunsilk makes me really nostalgic as I have been using Sunsilk products right from my childhood , so it brings back all the beautiful memories and moments from my childhood.Today I will be reviewing the Sunsilk Stunning Black Shine Shampoo & Conditioner . The packaging and everything has changed and revamped so I will talking about the current and latest sunsilk. 

Let's get started with the review.

Directions to use:

• After washing your hair thoroughly take 2 to 3 drops of the shampoo, equal to size of a coin, on your palm.
• Then apply the shampoo gently massaging it all over your hair from the roots to the tips.
• Leave the shampoo on your hair for a couple of minutes & then rinse it off completely.

• It comes in a Black colored plastic bottle with a flip cap mechanism to dispense the product which makes the use of it all hassle free and convenient.
• Product details are mentioned on the bottle. 
• Packaging is simple , basic, decent , handy ,travel friendly 
• It has pleasant , strong floral fragrance which lingers for quite some time.I love the fragrance of it , for sensitive noses it could be an issue.
• It has a black creamy shimmery texture , which lathers really really well when mixed with a little quantity of water.

My Experience with this ..! 

"Sunsilk = childhood memories" for me ..It is a brand that I have clinged to for many years including my school and college days.I have tried all the variants that they had and ended up loving the black and the pink one the most.Now talking about the black one , I absolutely love the way it smells , the fragrance is really nice and strong and lingers for a long time.Me being a sucker for strong fragrances find it very fascinating to use this.Now coming to the performance of this shampoo , it lathers really well when mixed with water and cleanses the scalp and hair well. I have ridiculously dry hair so I am always very cautious while I select my shampoo and conditioner . This shampoo makes my hair very clean , although at times I do find it a little bit drying , but that can be tamed with the black conditioner.

Coming to price point , I feel sunsilk products are decently priced and they do a decent job in cleansing the hair well with least damage.They are of course full of chemicals(Sulphate, Silicone) so if you are ingredient conscious then you may not like it.

The packaging for this shampoo has evolved over time , Also the formula is changed by adding the Amla Pearl Complex which claims to revive your black hair, leaving your hair looking fuller. I am someone who already has very thick and fuller hair so I really can't say for sure if this is true, I can only say that I do not suffer any hair loss when I use this.

Few observations :

• It works better if I have applied hair oil around an hour before on my hair prior to using this .
• I tried using this without conditioner and I observed increased frizziness,dryness and tangled curls.Didn't really like it this way ! 
• It works best when followed up with a conditioner. (Any conditioner) 
• It removes all excess oil from the hair.
• The fragrance is pleasant and long-lasting.

All and all this was everything about my experience with this shampoo !

What Did I like about this product ?:

• Packaging is simple.
• So many Variants available.
• Helps in getting shiny hair
• Pleasant fragrance
• Inexpensive
• Easily available

What did I dislike about this product:

• It is full of chemicals.If you are very ingredient conscious then you may not like this product.
• Fragrance could be strong for sensitive noses, for me it somehow works.
• It makes my hair dry if I use it without conditioner.

Recommended to use ?? 

Yes , It is a decent shampoo for a decent price.

No , if you have very dry hair , please keep yourself away from this one , it works best on dry to normal hair.
