EVA Fresh Lips Fresh Mint Moisturising Lip Balm - Product Review !

Hi Friends !! 

I suddenly have developed liking of things that tingle :p .. may be its tea tree effect .. but these days I am always keen in buying stuff that has cooling or tingling effects .. be it body wash , face wash or anything else .. Like so .. I bought Eva Fresh Lips lip balm only for the fact that it claimed to have mint flavor which I assumed would give me tingles :) 


So if you wanna know my experience with the product then keep on reading !!

How does it Look and smell like ?: 

Packaging :

• This lip balm comes in a very cool ice blue , aqua colored cap and a white body, it has the mechanism like a lipstick , packaged into a cardboard cover with various details over it.In fact a lotttttt of details that you would possibly not care to read :P
• Overall packaging looks very fresh and gives a summer feel to it.
• Packaging is sturdy and travel friendly.

Color :

• The lip balm is white in color , but clear on application .
• It is not tinted lip balm and doesn't leave a white cast on application.
• It gives the lips a very nice sheen.

Fragrance/Taste:

• It has a very sweet and mild mint-like fragrance , which is expected :P...but it vanishes within 5 minutes or so , so sensitive noses will not mind using it.. however i would have preferred the smell to stay for little longer.
• It gives the right amount of tingles on application.. neither too much nor too less , just the right amount that you would need.
• It has a sheen look to it on application and it will appear like a gloss on lips , not a good base for matte lipstick.
• Doesn't taste anything prominent.

Texture:

• The texture is smooth , the chap-stick is neither too thick nor thin.
• The application is convenient and hygienic.
• It glides on smoothly and evenly.
• Just one or two swipes are sufficient.
• It is not very hydrating , so needs reapplication in say every 2 hours or so.

 How to Use this Product? :

Its simple .. just open the blue cap and use it like a chap stick. Apply one or two swipes and you are done !..It glides very well .. and is hassle free.

What Did I like about this product ?:

• Very convenient and hygienic application.
• Made my lips soft.
• It's a light everyday use lip balm.
• Travel friendly.
• Neat and sturdy Packaging.
• Less pricey.
• Gives right amount of tingles.
• Tint free and mild fragrance.
• One or two swipes are enough for one application.
• Nice Variants available.
• Quiet detailing is available on the packaging.

What did I dislike about this product:

• If it is used under a matte lipstick , it will tend to make it glossy, so was unable to use it under a matte lipstick.
• I wished that the fragrance could last a little longer. 

Recommended to use?

Yes , I feel for a price like that it's worth a try.I may consider purchasing other variants as well.

Final Take & Rating !! : 

Well this is my first mint lip balm , as I always prefer going for either strawberry or other fruity lip balms available in the market,so the experience was good enough. In fact I m more keen on buying minty lip balms now as the tingles felt nice specially during summers.

Hi Friends, 

Eventually it all started with a simple liking for few products .. and then more inclination towards trying and testing each product and analyse .. if it was all worth the time , money and effort .. just to realize that it's time for me to start sharing my inputs and feedback about the products I prefer using ..

So I came across this amazing lip balm by "Organics Harvest" while I was strolling in a grocery shop and trust me the only thing that attracted me towards buying this was its attractive packaging.. :D . . i will be very honest .. i have so many lip balms and wasn't keen on buying anything of that sorts .. and then this cute little dome shaped balm simply pulled me in its direction .. I had to Own It !

How does it Look and Smell like : 

These are amazingly cute in packaging .. very attractive , egg-shaped and colorful to look at . . 
Let me make it more readable by mentioning a list below:

• They are spherical Dome shaped lip balms.
• It has mild fragrance of the respective variant which fades out in 20-30 mins.
• No additional color added.
• Paraben free and also No bees wax..
• key ingredients are Certified Organic lanolin, Shea butter, BHT and food grade flavor. No Color Added - Color of the product may change due to the use of Organic and Natural ingredients.
• The packaging has colors in accordance to the variant they represent.
• Only the logo is made on the lip balm body, its plain and simple looking.
• The lid fits in well , so sturdy in that case you drop it :D

 

 How to Use this product? :

Initially it felt unnatural to use the dome shaped lip balm as I would smudge it all over my lips and face but learnt the technique after few usages...

• The product's tagline for this lip balm is .. two lips one swipe ! .. So as the name suggests , you only need to use it with either a smile or kiss pout and apply it generously on both lips together at the same time.
• It takes about 2-3 applications for me to feel my lips well hydrated.

What Did I like about this product

• Its very hydrating , lasts for 2-3 hours.
• Perfect to put as base under Matt lipsticks.
• No shine , no gloss , no tint and mild fragrance, makes it perfect wear at night and wake up with hydrated lips the next morning.
• Packaging is cute and unconventional.
• Value for money.
• Decent and sturdy packaging.
• It's Organic ! Less chemicals , the better it is ! 
• Nice Variants.

    

What did I dislike about this product :

• Might not be travel friendly as it doesn't fit my jeans pocket so well, it appears like a bump.
• For some people , it may feel like a thick wax layer on lips .
• When the dome top gets used and gets more curvy it will be difficult to use.

    

Rating and Final Take !! : 

I think I am quiet satisfied with this one ! .. Rating is : 4 / 5 

Initially as I was not habitual of using a dome shaped lip balm it was a tad bit difficult as I was smudging it all over my lips and face too, only to realize that it works best when i apply it with a lip pout.

One thing that I've noticed is that it doesn't give any shiny appearance or glossy look when you apply this , so basically its the perfect night wear lip balm and under the matte lipstick,cos this will not affect the Matt-ness of a Matt lipstick.. if you know what I mean :P


The hydration lasted for like 2-3 hours , it could survive lunch too .. however traces of lip balm had faded on my lips and i decided to reapply it.It gives a very waxy feel on lips , in fact I washed my face and realized this balm is water resistant .Now when I say water resistant I mean that it doesn't wash off easily .. you can see the water droplets over your lips as the wax is coated on your lips locking the moisture inside, some may find this a bit irritating.

My final word about this product is , it is worth a shot , great variants and value for money !
