A fragrance lover can never get over blogging about any fragrance that they come across , it's an addiction and I have no shame in admitting that I am an addict :P 

Today I will be reviewing one of the fragrances that I was mesmerized by. It is by Yardley- Yardley London English Lavender - Eau De Toilette.

 Product Description : 

What does the Product Claim:

A beautifully fresh, clean elegant fragrance combining Bergamot and cCary sage with a heart of English Lavender, eucalyptus, geranium, jasmine, chamomile and violet, enhanced with deeper, warm notes of wood, vanilla and patchouli.

Spray lightly onto your pulse points in the morning after Bath and refresh throughout the day with our body sprays.

Top Notes: Bergamot and Clary Sage.

Heart Notes: English Lavender, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Jasmine, Chamomile and Violet.

Base Notes: Wood, Vanilla and Patchouli.

Packaging :

• It comes in a beautiful see through glass bottle with a golden colored metallic cap and simple spray nozzle to dispense the product.
• The bottle has a Yardley sticker with Lavender print on the front of the glass bottle which makes the overall packaging look pretty and feminine.
• The bottle does not contain any product information. For that you will have to keep the outer cardboard packaging intact with you.
• The cap is a nice and tight but the bottle is glass so it will not be very travel friendly.

My Experience with this ..! 

To start off with my experience with this EDT, the very first thing that I noticed was the packaging .. It has that element of simplicity in it .. the bottle is a no-fuss simple glass bottle slightly bent on both sides making the bottle to look little curvy and has a simple golden cap to it. The pump dispenses decent spray and few spritz are enough for 4 hours.

Coming to the fragrance, the fragrance overall is dominated by lavender of course with hints of Eucalyptus, Jasmine, Wood and Patchouli. These are the notes that I can mostly sniff when I use it. It also has other notes but the above mentioned come out prominently to me. The fragrance is not very long lasting, it lasts for 4 hours or so provided you are not roaming in hot sun or doing work outs. Also, it feels more like a fragrance of a talcum powder than a perfume.

Overall I like the fragrance as it is more of the calming fragrances and it is something I like to put when I feel indecisive and confused .. The lavender helps immensely in calming down and bring that clarity in thoughts.

What Did I like about this product ?:

• The fragrance is calming one with lavender as the most dominating fragrance.
• Packaging is simple , but not so travel friendly.
• It is affordable.
• Easily available in general stores as well as online.

What did I dislike about this product:.

• Glass bottle makes it a little unsafe to travel with.
• I wish this fragrance was more long lasting.
